Every year, the tiny Adirondack mountain village of Elizabethtown, New York comes alive to the sound of jam sessions, electro-funk, indie-folk, and joint-induced coughing. Otis Mountain Get Down is a music festival that draws in crowds from the surrounding area for a weekend of camping, music, mud, and getting sick in a tent. Kat Wright and the Indomitable Soul Band, The Suitcase Junket, Valley Queen, How Sad, and Vundabar performed to assorted flannels and overalls on the mountain.
We had a Chivomegro reporter on hand to document the madness, and just to show that we ain’t all about the digital, we got all analog up in that shit and took Polaroids. Suck it, Instagram.
